Join us for a very special evening of Choral Music with guests from the USA: The Patrick Henry College Chorale. A concert by the Patrick Henry College Chorale is something special. Come and be uplifted, inspired, encouraged, maybe changed.
The Patrick Henry College Chorale hails from Purcellville, Virginia, just outside Washington, DC. Nestled against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge mountains, yet within an hour's drive of the American Capitol, this 25-year-old private Christian college is training leaders and producing graduates that make a difference in their homes, their jobs, their world. Even in their concerts.
Comprised of 52 energetic college students from across America, the PHC Chorale is purposeful and focused on a mission – creating an unforgettable choral sound infused with rhythmic intensity, beautifully blended, passionately presented, and offered for the glory of their Creator.
The Chorale's repertoire ranges from music of the Renaissance and Classical masters (Sweelinck and Rheinberger) to the finest European and American composers of today (Gjeilo, Mealor, Forrest and Kirchner). Songs of their American home, "Shenandoah" and "Ain't No Grave Can Hold My Body Down" showcase the diversity of style that leaves the listener both to reflect and be inspired. Maybe changed. The root of their passion for choral music is their common faith in and commitment to Jesus Christ.
This, their second European tour takes them to Scotland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, from May 10-25, 2026. Not only will this tour incorporate concerts in grand cathedrals and countryside villages, but homestays along the way bring a unique component. They look forward to making significant connections with new friends. After all, the theme of this tour is "Until we Meet Again", from the final line of text at each concert.
The Cathedral Café and Bar will be open until 6.30pm for snacks, cakes, wines beers and hot drinks.
