About

A 200 year old Cottage overlooking Fitz Park with stunning views of the River Greta, Skiddaw and Latrigg. Our arrival time 15.00 to 19.00 or by prior arrangement. We offer a warm and friendly welcome with a home from home atmosphere.  We have Visit England Silver and Breakfast Awards.  All prices include breakfast which include a full English or specials, plus a buffet of fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts and juice.  Don’t fancy breakfast, please call or e-mail for room only rates.  Our rooms are furnished to a high standard with Fair Trade well stocked refreshment trays. 2 rooms have baths and we have Egyptian Cotton Towels in all rooms.  We also have 3 private parking spaces which are on a first come basis or a space can be reserved for a small fee.  A space cannot be guaranteed if not reserved. There are bus stops close by. We are unable to accommodate groups of more than 4 during peak periods.

Bramblewood Cottage Guest House is situated opposite Fitz Park which offers tennis courts, bowls, putting, excellent cricket and bowling clubs or cafes if you wish to just relax.  We have a lovely guest lounge with books, magazines and games.

From M6 jct 40 take A66 for 17 miles to Keswick. Take first Keswick turning and turn left at junction signposted Keswick. On left, pass Twa Dogs Inn, petrol station, ambulance station and conservative club. Turn left after club into Greta Street. We are situated on the corner.
