Designed exclusively for two adults, this unique hideaway offers the beauty and warmth of a wooden interior with special touches of luxury.

Inside, the pod has been thoughtfully designed to provide everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay. The accommodation features a ready-made double bed, en-suite shower room with towels provided, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and a compact kitchenette equipped for basic food preparation, including a fridge. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a warm, welcoming space all year round.

After a day exploring the Lakeland fells relax into the comfort of the stunning double-ended luxury bath. Then enjoy an evening on the veranda watching the light change over the surrounding hay meadows and countryside as you soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this quieter corner of the Lake District. Visit in early spring or autumn and experience some of the Lake District’s darkest skies, ideal for stargazing. On clear evenings, you may even be lucky enough to witness the magical Northern Lights dancing overhead.

Just a 40-minute walk away lies the beautiful Bowscale Tarn — a hidden gem perfect for peaceful picnics and wild swiming, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Ullswater, one of the Lake District’s most picturesque lakes, is only a 20-minute drive, and the vibrant market town of Keswick, with its independent shops, cafés, restaurants, and outdoor activities offers much to enjoy.

Stay in The Grainery Suite, with its own private balcony — a peaceful spot to step outside, settle in and look up as the stars begin to appear. Or venture into the field to our wildlife hide, complete with comfy seating and cosy blankets for chilly nights. As darkness falls, listen for the unmistakable hooting of tawny owls echoing across the fields. Keep your eyes peeled… you might be lucky enough to spot some of our nocturnal wildlife moving quietly through the darkness.

Watch the moon rise in the east, above the forest, as the evening unfolds. Then, for a truly magical experience, hire The View firepit area. Toast marshmallows, relax around the fire and watch the glowing embers dance upwards before turning your gaze to the heavens as the stars come out.
