About

Nestled on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of the National Park, with Wainwrights walks a stone’s throw away and the pretty Lakeland village of Ambleside a mile away, Low Wood Bay is the perfect base for relaxing and exploring the Lakes.

Contemporary and luxurious rooms are equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and that your time in the Lake District is all about making lasting memories.  If you’re looking for a more exclusive experience, Winander Club offers additional room features and personalised service as well as a private bar and breakfast area with stunning panoramic views of the lake.

The Low Wood Bay resort has the choice of two exceptional restaurants. Blue Smoke on the Bay features a 3-metre-long wood-fired grill which creates unforgettable flavours in steaks, meat, fish and vegetables. The W is a vibrant and colourful restaurant serving an exceptional British and Continental menu.

The Spa at Low Wood Bay is a luxurious environment with spectacular views that offers inside and outside spaces to unwind, enjoy energising and relaxing spa treatments and packages.
