About

You can’t help but fall in love with Waterfoot Park. Serenely situated just a short distance from the shimmery waters of Ullswater, be prepared to be swept away by the park’s beauty, warmth, and promise of a truly special holiday.

Conveniently located on the famous Ullswater Way walking route and the starting point for the Dalemain Loop, Waterfoot is an ideal base for walking enthusiasts and cyclists alike. Boasting magnificent mountains including the renowned Helvellyn, challenging yet rewarding cycle routes, plus the popular Ullswater ‘Steamers’, the area is a firm favourite with outdoor enthusiasts.

Just beyond the park is Pooley Bridge. This quaint little village is within walking distance of the park and hosts a range of tempting dining out options some of which sit beside the river and offer an idyllic setting for an afternoon tea or wholesome pub grub.

The glamping area at Waterfoot Park is tucked away towards the back of the park and is fringed by greenery. Here, you will find four S-pods, two of which are dog friendly.

Stepping through the sliding glass doors and into the S-Pod, you’ll be welcomed by the open plan arrangement which incorporates a lounge area with an L-shaped sofa for cosy nights in, a well-equipped kitchen including an oven and dishwasher, and a dining area which is located towards the back of the S-Pod.

When night-time arrives, there’s a double bed on the mezzanine level (accessed by a ladder), a double sofa bed in the living area, and should you require an additional sleeping space, the dining area cleverly converts into a small bed. We recommend a maximum of 4 adults in this property or 4 adults and 2 children.

Outside, the sheltered decking area provides an opportunity for dining or is simply a lovely spot to sit and take in this tranquil setting.

One of the S-Pods has ramp access.
