About

Brewery Arts is at the heart of the thriving town of Kendal, which lies in one of the most scenic areas in Britain. Our historic building provides a unique venue, with a fantastic atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. The venue is includes of a 260 seat theatre, a 420 standing capacity music venue, two cinemas, a digital lounge, galleries, gardens, bars, restaurant and creative studios.

Digital Lounge 

Our immersive Digital Lounge is a small private space with huge audiovisual impact!

Private screening room, perfect for gaming sessions, film parties, business presentations, or for streaming your favourite sports match or music festival.

State-of-the-art high definition 4k projection and Dolby Atmos multi-channel surround sound system.

Beautifully designed and furnished with handmade velvet sofas and armchairs.

Fully automatic plug and play system – simply bring your laptop, USB drive, or games console with you.

Fully accessible and self-contained with private accessible toilet.

Drinks and snacks available on request.

 

The Malt Room 

A flexible venue that can accommodate up to 300 without catering, or 175 with catering

Popular for receptions and parties, it offers a dance floor, platform stage and its own private bar facility. A choice of table arrangements can also be recommended.

 

Full of the character of the old Brewery, its intimate feel and versatile space makes it suitable for smaller groups too, ideal for conferences, workshops, training and hospitality events

 

Theatre 

Our main theatre seats 260 and offers a raked auditorium with an intimate feel and a large flat stage area.

Streaming equipment and technical support are available.

Perfect for hosting talks, seminars, lectures, conferences, shows and film screenings.

Equipped with the latest lighting and sound equipment, as well as dressing rooms and an entrance for unloading.

 

Cinema 

Our spacious cinema screens have just been refurbished and are fully equipped with clean-air extraction systems, wheelchairs spaces, infra red and induction loop facilities.

All of our cinema screens are available to hire when not in use for our film programme

All the screens have digital projection facilities and Dolby digital sound.

All cinemas can support PowerPoint presentations and technical support is available to assist with the delivery of corporate events.
