Sit back and relax as we take you to enjoy the sights and sounds of Hadrian's Wall by bus. The AD122 bus service takes you back into Roman times where you can visit some of the highlights of Hadrian's Wall Country, including Chester's Roman Fort, Houseteads Roman Fort, Roman Vindolanda, Northumberland National Park Centre - Once Brewed and the Roman Army Museum.For full details on the route and times, visit the website (see contact details). If you are travelling from Carlisle to the Wall, then you can connect with the AD122 service at Haltwhistle & Hexham using the Northern Rail train service or local bus services. Contact the Carlisle Tourist Information Centre for further details (01228 598596).

Travelling on the AD122 is great value, with a range of 1 day, 3 day or 7 day tickets which allow you to explore Hadrian's Wall without the need to worry about carrying change. We've got tickets for Adults, Kids, Students, Over 60's and Families that allow you to explore the Wall at your leisure. We also offer single and return fares, plus Concessionary Bus Pass holders travel free on all journeys after 09:30 on weekdays and all day at weekends or Bank Holidays (holders of Northumberland Concessionary Bus Passes may board after 09:00 on weekdays).
