About

We are ideally located on the border of the three great shires: Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Cumbria. This gives our chefs access to the finest fresh produce and livestock these counties have to offer. Plus, we have some great local breweries on our doorstep, and the real ales pair wonderfully with our comfy fireside sofas.

Serving food every day, you can always count on us for a cosy meal for two, a family celebration or a quick bite whilst passing through. Our large bar and our beautiful restaurant provide many seating options, all wheelchair accessible, including our dog friendly area, intimate booths, tables tucked away, and options for large groups.

Our food service starts at 12pm every day and we serve right through until 8pm in the evening. Our Sunday lunches are top class, and we pride ourselves on catering for dietary requirements, plus we have tasty vegan options. Bookings are welcome or just call in!
