First established in 1954, and set in a peaceful location, surrounded by wildlife, at the foot of the Wasdale valley, the gift shop has been extended over the years to include a tearoom and a dog friendly space for people to sit and enjoy a variety of home-made dishes served from breakfast through to early evening. Whether you’re visiting, staying locally or a resident of the area, you’ll find something for you at Woodlands Tea Room and Gift Shop. From enjoying a meal or afternoon tea, to planning a party or finding someone that special something.
We work with a number of local food producers to create a variety of home baked goods including breakfast, lunch, coffee, cakes and our amazing afternoon teas, available for eat in or takeaway. We also cater for buffets and celebrations on request and can even provide your birthday cake and balloons.
Our gift shop stocks a wonderful range of cards, artwork, jewellery, books, candles, jams, chutneys and giftware made in the local area and other small businesses in the UK.
