Rock climbing is one of the fastest growing sports and Borrowdale, close to Keswick is the perfect place to have your first experience of outdoor rock climbing as it is close to where some of the first ever rock climbs were completed. There are several popular rock faces that are sheltered and quick drying so that outdoor rock climbing can take place year round. There are a variety of climbs to try as your confidence increases and you will also have an opportunity to complete an abseil back down again. You could even try and emulate a famous local climber who was once bet he couldn't get to the top of a climb in boxing gloves and roller skates! Some of our favourite rock climbing routes are  in Borrowdale, including Little Chamonix, Troutdale Pinnacle and Corvus.

A half day session starts from £150 and full day from £220.
