Whinlatter is a great place to run with a 5km trail which is also used for Parkrun and a 10km, both are permanent trails. Each running route is marked with a coloured posts which will guide you around the course. Maps are available from the Visitor Centre and shop.
There are also 2 children’s trails, the Squirrel Scurry and the Tracks Trail, which help children explore the forest and learn more about its wildlife. For people who are less mobile we also have a Tramper for hire, which you can take up into the forest on the specially designed route. Maps are available from the Visitor Centre and shop.

Whinlatter Walking Trails, KeswickWhinlatter is a great place for walking with many miles of gravel roads, paths and tracks to explore. Each junction is marked with a numbered post which is shown on the Forest guide map making it easy to create your own route.
