Learn the skills to wild camp in the UK.
This is a two day training event, partly on the fells, including a high-level overnight camp. We can offer this training in various locations within the Lake District National Park.
The trainer will foster a supportive and friendly environment for learning, so whatever your level, you will be supported to develop all the skills you need to experience a wild night out on the fells.
Participants will be guided and supported by a qualified and expert mountain leader. The course will cover best clothing and equipment, packing for an expedition, route choice and everything you need to know about camping out in the fells in the UK, including site choice, cooking a meal and camp safety and hygiene.
Participants should bring their own tent and camping equipment, although it may be possible to borrow equipment for the event.
Maximum 8 people, £120pp (for 2 days and a night).
