Performed by local young pianists and introduced by Nina Bernstein, the 29 Anniversaries are a collection of musical gifts written for family and close friends of Leonard Bernstein. Each miniature offers a personal glimpse into his musical voice - full of character, warmth, and wit.
This performance is followed by a screening of the film A Total Embrace, a film exploring the creative process behind the Bernstein Beat, and pays celebrating Bernstein's extraordinary contribution to music and music education.
