The People's Gallery + Art Lab | Take Part
This summer, we're transforming our top floor into Art Lab: a playful creative space for experimenting, making, and having fun.
You and your family can drop in and explore a wide range of arts and crafts materials, scraps, and tools. You can even display your artwork there for others to admire when you are done!
Whether you're just popping in to add a jolt of creativity to your day or hanging out for an hour or two, Art Lab is a perfect addition to any day out.
We've got you covered for rainy summer holiday days, and with our roof terrace overlooking the Solway, sunny days won't be wasted with us either!
You can pop into our café bar for drinks and treats, and/or bring a picnic to enjoy on our lawn.
There will be a programme of free and low-cost bookable activities for families.

Rosehill is located one mile north of Whitehaven. From the main A595 take the turning at the brown and white tourist sign marked Rosehill Theatre and head up the hill. The theatre and adjacent barn are about half a mile on the left hand side and are clearly signposted. Ample free car and coach parking available.
