An artist's book can take many forms, from a simple concertina to a stapled or handstitched volume, to a printed zine. Making one is an enjoyable way of working out ideas, presenting or archiving your artwork, or preparing for a portfolio review. You might even want to sell some copies. In this workshop we'll have a go at making some simple artist books, covering basic techniques, talking over ideas, and thinking about sequencing and organising work.
This will be a practical session, but the idea is also to think about your work and how you might want to present it, in a comfortable and friendly environment. Materials and tools will be provided but come with some examples of work you can print or discuss.
