Hatching and Blending in Woven Tapestry with Anna Wetherell
Saturday 18th April 2026
£70 plus £5 for materials
Taking our inspiration from the seasonal colours observed during a short walk down to the bridge just below Farfield Mill (weather permitting), we will explore the tapestry techniques of hatching and blending that enable us to shift colour across our tapestries. This is the second of three workshops exploring colour techniques in woven tapestry. While it's not necessary to sign up for all three, attending more than one will enable you to build on the skills gained in earlier workshops. Suitable for beginners.
Bring your own equipment if you have it, but there will also be looms warped up ready to go and a range of weft yarn for you to use. Additional equipment will be available for sale, should you wish to continue weaving after the workshop day (up to around £75).
