In 2026 the Party in the Park (PiP) will happen in conjunction with Odd Socks Theatre Company's performance of Romeo and Juliet, this will happen outdoors, with performances starting at 7pm on Friday and Saturday evening.

Turn off the A595 at the roundabout (Lillyhall/Winscales) onto the A66, heading west towards Workington.
Continue straight on the A66 for approximately 2 miles.
At the next major roundabout (Stainburn Roundabout), take the 2nd exit to stay on the A66 (Workington/Town Centre).
As you enter Workington, follow the signs for the Town Centre.
At the Ramsey Brow junction (near the historic Workington Hall), turn left onto A596 (Washington Street).
Almost immediately, turn right onto Vulcan's Lane.
Follow Vulcan's Lane for a short distance; the entrance to Vulcan Park and the adjacent parking areas will be on your left.
Main Routes: Regular services such as the 30, 31, and 300 connect Workington with Whitehaven, Maryport, and Carlisle.
The X4/X5 Service: Provides a direct link from Penrith, Keswick, and Cockermouth.
Nearby Stops: Many buses also stop at The Theatre Royal on Washington Street, which is even closer to the Vulcan's Lane entrance of the park.
