Adults £14 U12's £8 inc.Food and hot drink
Join us for an exciting evening of stargazing, talks and food with our expert astronomers in the Lake District National Park. Ticket price includes a lovely hot drink, delicious soup and pie.
Our stunning dark sky is free from light pollution which means the park is designated as an important UK Dark Sky Reserve. Weather permitting, we will use pointers to highlight key constellations and stellar objects. You will also get the opportunity to view the night sky using binoculars, powerful telescopes and the newest AI powered smart telescopes. Inside the cosy farm shop and cafe warmed by log burners, we will be running a series of illustrated talks to introduce you to the exciting world of astronomy and the wonders of our crystal clear skies. Our experts will also be available to answer any of your Dark Sky questions.
Alcoholic drinks and other Basecamp goodies will be available for purchase in the shop
Please note, as we are going outside warm clothing and sensible shoes are required and do not forget to bring a torch. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone taking part in this star gazing event does so at their own risk. The organisers do not accept any responsibility for any individual nor group of individuals, who may be participating.
