Taste the Lakes is not your average half marathon. Set across Greystoke Castle's private parkland and Greystoke Forest - normally closed to the public - this is 13.2 miles of breathtaking Cumbrian trail with a delicious twist.
At every mile, a carefully curated tasting stop featuring the region's finest local producers. Run it, walk it, or a bit of both. Just don't skip the snacks.
And it's all for Mac My Day, a local charity dedicated to finding an end to Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
WHAT TO EXPECT
13 miles of gently undulating trail
12 tasting stops, local beer, spirits, food and soft drinks
A finish-line disco and medal for every finisher
250 runners, walkers and everything in between
