Trek26 Lake District
About
Fundraisers of Alzheimer's Society will take on on an incredible 13 or 26 mile trek.
The 26 mile route will start and finish at our event hub at Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens, CA11 0HB.
The 13 mile route starts at Patterdale Cricket Club, King George 5th Playing Field, Patterdale, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 0PJ. We provide a free shuttle bus service from our event hub at Dalemain Mansion to the 13 mile start as there is no parking or drop off areas at this point.
Both the 26 mile and 13 mile routes will trek around the tranquil Ullswater lake using most of the famous and well-kept Ullswater Way trail. Nestled amongst dramatic rolling hills, they will walk through serene woodland and lakeside paths, and take in stunning views, including Helvellyn, England's third highest mountain.
