There is nothing better than a break away with the whole family (and that includes the dog!) or a gang of mates together for a long weekend of catching up.

The Lake District, Cumbria is perfect location for such a trip, with enough to do to entertain every member of the party. If you are into walking, adventure activities or just admiring the scenery from a country pub with a pint in your hand, this is the place for you.

If you’re planning a holiday break for a large group of people, we have a terrific choice of accommodation to choose from to suit all tastes and budgets, whatever the size of your party. If you are looking for a large self-catering cottage for a family get-together, there are literally dozens to choose from. All of them are equipped with everything you need for your stay and some even have those luxurious extras such as a hot tub and a view of the famous Lakeland scenery. Stay in and enjoy the big, home-cooked family meal or take the clan out to a local restaurant and let someone else do the washing up!

Perhaps you would prefer to be looked after. A luxury hotel for that long-overdue reunion party with that group of old friends would be the perfect choice.

We also have a great range of campsites and hostels which can cater for groups of any size. Bring the gang for a celebration – be it the end if exams, a mate’s birthday or just because you fancy getting away for a few days with your besties.
