About

The Langdale Hotel & Spa, set in 35 acres of woodland and waterways in the heart of the Lake District, is the perfect place for getting away from it all. Massive millstones, a water-wheel, cannon and other relics are reminders of its former life, as a 19th Century gunpowder works. The majority of the 52 bedrooms are located village-style, in historic properties around the estate, with just 5 situated in the main building. Each room is different in style with Feature and Ultimate rooms for those special occasions. All rooms are en suite and are equipped with satellite TV, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.

Brimstone Spa
Inspired by the heritage of its location, Brimstone Spa incorporates natural elements derived from its home, the Lake District. Combining this with luxury relaxation methods, Brimstone Spa offers an indulgent way to unwind and simply relax, all whilst being surrounded by the breathtaking Lakeland scenery.

Brimstone Spa Expereince
Our Lake District spa, exclusive for adults, offers a luxury space to relax, revive and unwind. Featuring our seven thermal experiences, nine metre relaxation pool and five relaxation areas, choose the perfect space for you.

Spa Therapies
Delivered by our experienced therapists, indulge in a range of luxurious spa therapies. Choose from a refreshing facial, reviving hot stone treatment or a soothing massage, all of which embody Elemis or our bespoke Pure Alchemy products.

The Spa Deli
Exclusive for guests of the spa, take a break from relaxing and visit the Spa Deli when you’re feeling peckish. Enjoy a range of savoury and sweet treats or treat yourself to your favourite beverage, whether that's alcoholic or not.

The excellent Fitness & Leisure Facilities central feature is the 20m indoor pool, with bubble massage seat, dedicated swimming lane, spa bath and fully-equipped exercise studio. The health & beauty salon offers a full range of treatments for head-to-toe pampering. You are assured of a warm welcome and friendly service on the award-winning Langdale Estate.

Visit Stove Bar and Restaurant, offering something for everyone all day and evening, merging great indoor and outdoor spaces. The Wine Room is a quiet oasis whilst the Mezzanine is a relaxing space with views of the hills, the open kitchen is a theatre and the bar is the place to be.

Modern and traditional dishes featuring seasonal and the finest local produce are created by Scott and his team, you are able to get close and personal.
