You are here: Home > Accommodation > Melmerby Hall
Throw the house party of a lifetime as you recreate the golden age of English country life. Melmerby Hall sleeps 18 in 9 ensuite bedrooms. This can be extended to 32 with Stag Cottage and Kirkbride Hall and with the further additional of Todd Hills Hall Farm about a mile away, we can accommodate up to 52 people in 6 halls and cottages.
Let children and dogs run free, creating memories of endless days, building dams and dens in your private stretch of woodland that leads down to a tributary of the River Eden.
A short stroll through the manor’s archway takes you to Melmerby village for homemade cakes and scones at the Old Village Bakery. Sup a local brew at the Shepherd’s Inn or potter around La Brocante antiques, 'Upstairs' sumptous homeware and ladies’ clothing, all discreetly squirrelled away behind the rosy sandstone walls. For biking, hiking, riding, sailing, shooting and fishing, strike out into the glorious Lake District and Pennine Hills – they’re all on your doorstep. Then return to the sweet comfort of roaring fires, claw-footed baths and a generous wicker hamper of local delicacies and treats.
We can recommend caterers, activities and offer suggestions for walks and days out.
