About

Stunning mountain views, beautiful gardens and a tranquil location on the outskirts of Torver, yet with all the amenities of Coniston close at hand, make Hollace the perfect choice for those looking for a spectacular setting for their Lake District holiday.

From the doorstep, guests can hike Coniston Old Man, Dow Crag and the surrounding fells. Footpaths also lead down to Coniston Water lakeshore or into Coniston village. And what could be better after a day's adventure than to relax in your own hot tub with incredible views?

Inside this cottage, which is all on one level, guests will find themselves comfortably accommodated in this cosy home-from-home. With three bedrooms, there is flexible accommodation to suit a variety of guests. And the simply spectacular views from the large picture windows will live forever in the hearts of all those who visit this very special part of the Lakes.

In short, with its astonishing views, luxurious hot tub, versatile and well-appointed accommodation and beautiful gardens, Hollace is the perfect base for couples, friends or families seeking a memorable stay in the Lakes.

Internally

A handy entrance porch leads into a wide hallway with ample storage for coats, boots and outdoor gear.

Off the hallway leads all 6 rooms of this bright & airy bungalow.

The lounge room is a lovely place for relaxing, and the eye is always drawn to the jaw-dropping views from the huge window. The fabulous open countryside and mountain vista is truly breath-taking. Should you be able to take you eyes off the view, then a TV is also available.

A log burning stove creates a cosy centrepiece for this lovely room.

The kitchen is located towards the rear of the cottage with pretty views over the garden and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There is also a dining table with chairs for 4.

The three bedrooms are all located off the central hallway.

Bedroom 1 features a king-size bed and more of those stunning mountain views
Bedroom 2 is a double with garden views
Bedroom 3 is a twin room with 2 singles and garden views

A family wet room with shower, basin and W.C. completes the accommodation.

Externally

Outside Hollace’s guests will discover ample places for relaxation and enjoyment. A hot tub with spectacular mountain views is exclusively yours during your stay. There is also a picnic table for outdoor dining, a patio, lawns and mature planting. The garden is a haven of nature and tranquillity and the thoughtful and considered planting enhances the spectacular open views beyond.
