Fountain Cottage an early 18C cottage that has all the facilities for a cosy and comfortable visit. Accommodation consists of a fully fitted kitchen/dining room on the ground floor, sitting room with additional convector heater, colour TV, DVD player and smart audio system with internet and DAB radio/CD player (we do not provide discs), a shower room and separate WC on the first floor and a top floor comprising 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed, and the other with 2 full size single beds. Free parking is only a very short distance away.

Middleton's Cottage an early 18C cottage skilfully brought to a high standard in recent years which consists of a fully fitted kitchen/dining room, cosy sitting room with additional convector heater, colour TV, DVD player and smart audio system with internet and DAB radio/CD player, we do not provide discs. On the first floor there are 2 comfortable bedrooms each with twin beds, and a bathroom with shower and WC. There is a small, ungated garden and a parking space for 1 car.

There is no age limit for children. Weekly lets normally run from 16.00 Sat until 10.00 Sat, although we try to accommodate all other requests whenever possible. Short breaks are welcome outside the busy periods.

Dent has a general store with post office operating 2 mornings a week. These provide for all needs and if you don't fancy cooking, then The George and Dragon or further up the dale, The Sportsman's Inn provide meals. The Sun Inn no longer serves food.  Meadowside and Stone Close in the village offer good quality meals and snacks during the day and evening meals in summer, but all have restricted hours during the winter months.
