Slater Bob’s is a stone-built cottage located within Coppermines Valley above Coniston Village which enjoys breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains. The cottage itself offers spacious accommodation and outside comes with its own, private, fellside garden which is to the cottage's hot tub.
A cosy and characterful interior awaits, offering a comfortable place from which to enjoy the spectacular views encompassing the cottage. Some of the finest walking in the Lakes, including The Old Man of Coniston, can be done direct from the front door!
Downstairs features a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with dining for 4, a sunny reading room with incredible views, a small study area (with a work-distracting view), a welcoming lounge with traditional beams, copper kettles and a large log-burning stove and finally a stylish & very spacious wet room with underfloor heating.
Upstairs are 2 comfortable double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite and both of which enjoy beautiful views of the fells.
Outside is a generous and mature garden offering more of those amazing views plus a perfectly-positioned hot tub, where you can soak up those fabulous views in this truly unique mountain garden.
Slater Bob's is situated with Coppermines Valley which is located approx 1.5 miles from Coniston Village. The valley is mportant in a national context, is included in The Schedule of Ancient Monuments and is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It also offers some of finest walking in the Lakes.
Please note that Slater Bob's is located in a true mountain environment and is accessed via an unmade mountain road.
