The Coppermines Mountain Cottages offer a truly unique and breath-taking setting for any Lake District holiday. Surrounding by towering peaks, thundering waterfalls and with spectacular views in every direction these charming, rustic cottages offer you the chance to explore the surrounding fells or to simply relax, unwind, enjoy the clear mountain air.
Sawyers, Carpenters, Millrace and Pelton Wheel are four inter-connecting cottages sleeping a combined total of 22 guests. Each individual cottage features a traditional, beamed interior complete with log fire, and comes with its own exclusive hot tub, so you can soak up the incredible mountain views in bubbly luxury.
Attached to the Mountain Cottages is a magnificent, restored waterwheel. This spectacular waterwheel looks all the more majestic in this dramatic mountain setting.
At the Coppermines Mountain Cottages you can hike the fells, including Coniston Old Man, wild swim in crystal clear waterfall pools and discover shimmering mountain tarns.

Each cottage includes sitting room, dining area, kitchen and 2-3 bedrooms and bathrooms as well as its own hot tub. Each cottage can be booked separately or together in any combination depending on the size of your party.
Please note that the cottages are situated within a mountain environment and as such, care and consideration must be given on approach to the cottage. Cottages are reached by an unmade mountain road, suitable for most vehicles except the lowest of sports cars.
