An 8thC Anglo-Saxon stone cross shaft besides St Cuthbert's Parish Church of Bewcastle dating from 13thC set beside ruins of Bew Castle now being consolidated by English Heritage. All three attractions are grouped together on the buried flat.No mobile phone signal.
