Welcome to Herdy Grasmere, the very first Herdy shop and the place where our story began. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Lake District village of Grasmere, our smallest store is bursting with charm, character, and the cheerful spirit that makes Herdy so loved.
Inspired by the adorable Herdwick sheep that have roamed the Lakeland fells for centuries, Herdy celebrates the landscapes, wildlife, and communities that make this area so special. Inside our cosy Grasmere shop, you’ll discover a joyful collection of colourful homeware, accessories, gifts, and keepsakes – all designed to bring a smile and a little bit of Lake District happiness into everyday life.
Our Grasmere store is a must-visit for Herdy fans, visitors looking for a ewe-nique souvenir, or anyone who enjoys beautifully designed products with a playful twist. From thoughtful gifts to everyday treats, there’s something to delight all ages.
Herdy is more than just a character brand; we’re passionate about giving back to the place that inspired us. Through the Herdy Fund, we support projects and charities that help protect and celebrate the Lake District and its communities.
Come and say hello to Herdy in our original shop, soak up the charm of Grasmere, and take home a little piece of Lakeland joy.
Opening hours: Open 7 days a week, 10:00am–5:30pm.
Accessibility: Our Grasmere shop has a narrow doorway and two steps at the entrance. Please contact us if you need any further information before your visit.
