About

You’ve never experienced anything like this…

Take on the UK’s original classic Via Ferrata against the backdrop of the stunning Lake District mountains.

This adventure is ideal for your entire family providing the perfect blend of adrenaline and natural beauty.

Create memories that are never forgotten when you book today.

Via Ferrata Xtreme has been at Honister since 2012 to bring a more challenging experience than the Classic Via Ferrata. Giving you a more thrilling experience by exposing you much more mountain edge, vertical climbs, cliff edge ladders, plus a Burma Bridge & Cargo Net crossing.

Climb up the massive Cargo net to one of the finest views of Lake District. Buttermere, Crummock and Loweswater, perfectly framed by Alfred Wainwright`s favourite Fells, Haystacks roll’s out before your very eyes. (Views are Weather dependent)  Via Ferrata Classic is £40 per person and the Via Ferrata Xtreme is £45 per person.

Please note, arrival time must be 30 minutes in advance of the time you have booked, failure to do so will result in participation forfeit. Honister will not reimburse customers for any consequential losses or expenses
