Join Studio Artist Wendy Ann Stanger for an inspiring introduction to fibre art, creating a beautiful autumn-inspired textile picture using a rich variety of natural plant fibres.
Working with materials such as linen, cotton, nettle, rose, and bamboo fibres, you will explore layering, texture, and composition to create your own unique fibre artwork inspired by the colours and atmosphere of autumn.
Throughout the workshop, Wendy Ann will guide you through techniques for arranging and combining fibres to build depth, texture, and detail within your piece. Suitable for beginners and those with some creative experience alike, this relaxed and enjoyable workshop is a wonderful opportunity to experiment with natural materials and contemporary textile techniques.
