Christmas comes alive in Carlisle: festive market and magic in the city centre.

Carlisle is set to glisten this festive season with this Christmas themed market, adding to the city's regular Friday open-air markets.

Taking place on Sunday 21 December, this special event will offer a seasonal atmosphere and a wide range of opportunities to shop local and find thoughtful gifts in the lead-up to Christmas.

The market will be open from 9am to 4pm.

There's always something to enjoy at Cumberland's local markets - a great mix of fresh produce, handmade crafts, gifts, clothing, and more. It's a good way to shop local, support small businesses, and spend time in the heart of our towns.

This market has been rearranged from its original date of Saturday 13 December.

A Christmas Quirky Eclectica Market will also take place in Carlisle city centre on Saturday 20 December.
