Creative Stitch – Animals and Nature (Free-motion Machine Embroidery) Workshop with Holly Capstick
£70 plus £5 for materials (sewing machines provided)
An exciting free-motion machine embroidery workshop with Textile Artist Holly Capstick. Learn how to mix paint and stitch to create beautiful stitched animal and nature artwork.
You will be guided in how to add a simple paint layer (no painting experience required) and add layers of free-motion machine embroidery – full tuition is provided, even if you haven't sewn before. You will be supported through the entire process, from choosing an image, preparing the image, transferring to fabric, painting, setting up and using a machine and stitching. Beginners welcome!
We provide template options, or bring your own animal images (7 x 7 inch max). All materials and equipment are provided. This is an adult course for students aged 16 + (or aged 13 if accompanied by an adult). All materials and equipment, including sewing machines, are provided.
