"Our personal encounters within Morecambe Bay."
This exhibition brings together the creative voices of ArtyBird Carnforth Fellowship Alumni, each offering their own glimpse into the rich and ever-changing landscape of Morecambe Bay. The featured works emerge from deep, personal engagement with place — a process of immersion in the Bay's spaces, heritage, and stories.
Through diverse artistic approaches and materials, the artists respond to the textures of shoreline and tide, to memory and migration, to light, history, and community. Each piece captures an intimate moment of connection — a sense of belonging shaped by the Bay's vast horizon and hidden depths.
