Hare Hook a Rug Workshop with Jane Cook

Rag Rugging for beginners.
Create a small square with a hare design, learning the traditional craft of hooking and prodding.
Have fun turning old T shirts, wool jumpers and thick yarns into a bespoke piece of work.
Hessian, tools and some wool fabrics will be provided on the day.
Please bring your own fabric scissors, a small selection of fabrics, colours that you like or clothing you want to upcycle. And any rug tools you may have.
The course will look at, how to use rug tool's, working on hessian, suitable fabrics and how to use them. Design your own rag rug and how to finish off.
You will take your piece of work home to finish off. It is unlikely that you will do it all in one go.
