The Helvellyn Double Dipper Swim provides the perfect adventure swimming day out. Swimming in the awe-inspiring Red Tarn is not to be missed and the second dip in Ashworth's Dub on the descent route rounds the day off nicely.

This is our own special take on a classic Lake District mountain walk amongst the Helvellyn Massif and is guaranteed to leave you with a day to remember.

Includes: Fully guided by mountain leader and swim guides. We provide hot drinks and snacks throughout the day as well as one of our lovely Swim the Lakes swim caps.

Swim Ability & Fitness: For confident, regular open water swimmers who can swim at least 1 mile, in one session, in open water. A good level of swim and walking fitness is required.

You can also join us for a full day of swimming and walking on our Adventure Swim Days, or extend your visit with one of our Adventure Swimming Mini-Breaks. For those new to the sport, we run popular Introduction to Open Water Swimming courses, as well as outdoor swim safety courses.
Our outdoor swimming shop in Ambleside is stocked with essential equipment and swimwear, and we offer a wetsuit fitting service to help you find the perfect fit.
