Connie Flynn's Text & Textile! explores everyday sayings rooted in the textile trade. Using recycled fabrics and white cotton garments, she hand-stitches phrases in red thread and integrates letterpress elements to evoke time and heritage.
Blending traditional and modern methods, Connie's 33-year practice focuses on sustainability and the connections between people, place, and material. An artist, educator, and art therapist, she continues to exhibit, teach, and lead workshops across the UK and beyond.
