Set in the beautiful valley of the River Lune between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, Woodclose Park is a quiet and serene place. It stands in a slight hollow leading down to the spectacular Devil's Bridge and the picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.
Location is one of the many strengths of Woodclose, and you will find plenty to see and do all within easy travelling distance of the park. The Ingleton Falls, Wensleydale Cheese Factory, White Scar Caves and the village of Hawes are just some of the many places to visit. The park is about a 10-minute walk to the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale with its selection of award-winning specialist shops, tea rooms, restaurants and inns. Horse riding and golf are also available nearby
The main touring area is ideally spaced for touring vans, near the amenities and pitches are supplied with electric, water, grey waste drain and television hook-up points.
There is an excellent range of on-site facilities including a play park area with a separate area set aside for ball games, site shop, washing facilities, laundry facilities and Calor gas sales and exchanges.

The nearest railway station is Oxenholme, 11.4miles or Ribblehead, 12.3miles.
Mainline connections from Carlisle and Lancaster are operated by Virgin Trains and First Transpennine connect to services including London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Glasgow. Taxis are available at the station.
Bus - the bus would drop you off in Kirkby Lonsdale town centre which is 0.8 miles from Woodclose and a taxi could be pre-booked to bring you the rest of the way.
