The Ambleside Inn is located in the heart of the popular Lake District town of Ambleside and offers delicious, homecooked dining all day every day. Whether fuelling up for a day’s exploring with a hearty breakfast, stopping by for a smaller plate with colleagues or friends, or lingering over lunches or an evening meal, enjoy a menu packed with quality seasonal and local ingredients, all freshly cooked to order.
Recently opened after an extensive refurbishment, The Ambleside Inn offers a cosy, warm place to relax, with roaring fires in the winter and a small outdoor terrace to bask in the sun in the summer.
On Sundays, tuck into a delicious carvery, with heaped helpings of hang-carved beef, pork or turkey with crunchy roast potatoes, billowing Yorkshire puddings, lashings of gravy and all the trimmings (vegetarian options also available). Littles ones have their one menu which is sure to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters!
Treat yourself to a local real ale, a perfectly chilled continental larger and a scrumptious cider. The well-stocked caller brings you wines from around the globe, perfect for pairing with your dish of choice. Catch up over a pot of tea or an aromatic barista coffee, or try something different with the Ringtons speciality loose leaf teas.
Muddy boots, children and dogs are always welcome!
