About

Guided Mountain Walking in the Lake District

Walking is seemingly limitless when it comes to the Lake District National Park. You can experience the dizzy heights of Scafell Pike - England’s largest mountain, or tick off one of the Lake Districts classic scrambles such as the famous Striding Edge on Hellvelyn or Sharp Edge on Blencathra. Maybe you want to explore the Coniston valley with its wealth of old mining history or reach the top of the famous Old Man of Coniston.

Wherever you wish to go, let us take the stress out of your day. You’ll be accompanied every step of the way by an expert local guide showing you the way, so that you can make the most of being out in the mountains. They will share their local knowledge and give you an insight into the local history, geology and nature of the area.

Walks to suit all abilities.

We can tailor a walk or scramble for you - just let us know what length and level of walk you would like and we'll come up an itinerary for you.

A full day walk to summit one of the larger mountains does require a reasonable level of fitness. If you want something a little less strenuous or you have young little legs with you, there are loads of smaller peaks with stunning views and many shorter lower level walks to choose from!

Wild Walking Weekends

Discover the wonders of the Lake District Fells with a knowledgeable local guide. We’ll take you off the beaten track and spend a few days exploring and wild camping in the most spectacular parts of the Lakes. Truly immerse yourself in nature!

All our holidays are tailor-made to your requirements. Whether you want to bag the biggest summits in the Lakes or wander across remote fells discovering places you didn’t know existed. We have the perfect trip for you.

You’ll be accompanied every step of the way by an expert local guide showing you the way, so that you can make the most of being out in the mountains. They will share their local knowledge and give you an insight into the local history, geology and nature of the area.

Come evening, your guide will find the perfect spot to camp and help you with erecting your tents and cooking your evening meal. Lay back, relax and watch the stars.

We provide all the specialist equipment including; lightweight backpacking tent, expedition rucksack, sleeping bag, roll mat and stove.
