You are here: Home > Accommodation > Catbells Cottage at The Lingholm Estate
Catbells Cottage has been thoughtfully restored to create a stunning five-bedroom home, perfectly positioned to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding fells.
At the heart of the cottage is a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area — ideal for gathering together. A striking floor-to-ceiling glass window floods the space with natural light, while sliding doors open directly onto the private garden, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.
Upstairs, there are two beautifully appointed bedrooms: a flexible super king (or twin) room and a king-size room with its own en-suite. On the ground floor, you’ll find a further king en-suite bedroom, two twin rooms, and a stylish family bathroom, offering comfortable and versatile accommodation for families or groups.
Outside, the enclosed lawned garden provides a safe and relaxing space to unwind, complete with outdoor seating and a built-in barbecue — perfect for alfresco dining with a view.
For larger gatherings, Catbells Cottage can be booked alongside neighbouring Keepers Cottage to provide additional accommodation.
During our quieter season, Catbells Cottage is available at a reduced occupancy rate. This option includes three bedrooms (sleeping up to six guests), along with full access to the open-plan living area, dining kitchen, and bathroom.
